Pecos Bills Rally Past Austin Weirdos 10-9

June 12 2024 The Pecos Bills rallied past the Austin Weirdos 10-9 at Cyclone Ballpark. Austin collected 10 hits and scored in the first three innings before adding one run in the sixth and two in the seventh. Pecos finished with 13 hits and scored in the third seventh eighth ninth and 10th innings. Austin built a 6-1 lead through three innings and held a 9-4 advantage entering the ninth. Pecos erupted for five runs in the ninth to level the game before scoring the deciding run in the 10th. The Bills’ ninth-inning surge and late 10th-inning run completed the comeback. Pecos third baseman D. Albin went 3-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. J. Rodriguez and M. Sexius each scored twice while M. Bonnain delivered two RBI as a pinch-hitter. For Austin Ryan Drag went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI, Donnell Scott was 2-for-5 with three runs and Jalil Marinez scored three times while adding one hit and one RBI. Phillip Jones earned the win for Pecos after pitching one scoreless inning with no hits allowed one walk and one strikeout. Gilberto Rosario struck out two while allowing six runs on six hits in five innings. Jacob Strobel took the loss for Austin after allowing three hits and one run without recording an out.
