May 30 2024 The Alpine Cowboys defeated the Pecos Bills 10-3 at Kokernot Field, turning a tied game into a decisive victory with four runs in the seventh inning and three more in the eighth. Alpine collected 17 hits while Pecos finished with 11. Both teams committed one error.
Alpine scored once in the second inning and twice in the fifth to match Pecos, which scored twice in the second and once in the fifth. The Cowboys then broke the game open late. A. Folds went 4-for-5 with two runs, while P. Kennard collected three hits, including two doubles. Drake Angeron added two hits, two runs and an RBI, and James Prockish had two hits and three RBIs.
